Connecting your Unwired modem to a network

Your Unwired modem can be easily connected to a home or office network. The following guide can show you how to setup your network with minimal fuss, as well as provide you with a shopping list of necessary equipment. As an Unwired customer, you have access to special pricing on the NETGEAR® range of networking products to make it easier for you, to build your home or business network.

To get you started, select one of the setups below for more information:

Setup your laptop
Share your Unwired modem
Connect multiple computers and a printer

Customers wishing to connect multiple computers to their Unwired modem are required to do so via a basic router, not a switch. Due to the configuration of the Unwired network, only one computer connected to a switch will be able to obtain a connection to the Unwired Network. We recommend that customers use basic routers such as NETGEAR, Linksys, Dlink or Belkin if they are wishing to connect multiple computers to their Unwired modem. NETGEAR routers are available at a reduced rate to Unwired customers.

* Note that the Unwired Helpdesk does not provide technical support for computer networking. For any further support whilst setting up your network you should contact your networking equipment provider, on the phone number provided with your product. For NETGEAR® this is 1800 787 638 within Australia.
